In March I started eating clean and exercising regularly and as of today I’ve lost of total of 10lbs!!!!!! What?!!
Surprisingly the process wasn’t as painful as I thought it was. Though I struggled to incorporate more vegetables into my meals and cutting down on white rice in the first week, now eating a bunch of greens is normal for me. I can’t see myself going back to my old eating habits anymore. I feel more awake and lighter with the lifestyle changes i’ve made in these 2 months.
To celebrate I bought myself a white two piece bathing suit.
—My Foundations of Nursing teacher made us stand up and shake to Shakira’s “Hips Don’t Lie” during our 7:30am class. Booty shaking/hip waving music being played by my teacher….no I don’t want to experience that ever happen again. Gosh I was sitting in the front row across from my teacher. awkward.
—A few of my friends didn’t recognize me out of my scrubs?? I guess the combination of me wearing regular clothes and putting my hair down (which I rarely do) caught them off guard.
—My nursing study group-4 lovely ladies including myself- all wore white shirts. It was coincidental but that didn’t make it any less amusing. We joked that we’ve started to dress alike as result of spending so much time together studying.
—After reviewing cardiovascular diseases with my group, we kicked back and enjoyed the ever so rare 80 degree weather Seattle graced on us today.
